To assure your are secure on the internet, NEVER allow your browser to save your passwords and always remove your history when you close your browser (take out the trash).

Each browser has a different method for removing the cached information; will go over that process at a later time.  Some quick notes on why this is important.

If you must save passwords at least select an option that encrypts the information to make it more difficult for those folks looking to get this information.

Clearing the cache or browser history has helped several clients when browser hijacks come about.  This is not saying that a new hijack or malicious attack will not find a loop hole in the system.  Taking out the trash and keeping your computer up to date really helps with keeping these attacks to a minimum...
